Massive Earthquake in China Sichuan province

Almost the Everyday news was on The massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake that struck on China 'Sichuan' province when we switch the the TV ON SCV channel 52. (it was reported more on the Taiwan news; more details)It was really very sad to see all the tragic moment there, when the news reported that the death toll keep rising. In some towns most of the population was killed. Many students were buried under the rubble of which was once their schools. Sadness and Tears always filled my eyes, when i saw on news those very young kids who lost their parents and parents crying pitifully looking for kids. Seeing all the anxious parents sit quietly on piles of rubble overlooking the site, waiting for their loves one, watching the rescue effort and hoping for signs of survivors.
They have been standing vigil since the earthquake struck on Monday, but most know there is now little chance of finding their children alive. Hopes really fade for survivors after so many days.
Tens over thousands have died and estimation of twenty six thousands more are trapped under rubble, some already buried alive. Even those kids who was luckily survived, some even need to amputate their limbs in order to survive or their flesh actually ripped from their arms or body. I wonder how their lives will be in future without their limbs and parents around them? They are still so young, there is still such a long way for them. The Chinese government's response has been very good considering the huge area and number of people affected. Roads have been closed by landslides making it difficult to get aid into the worst affected areas.

China's government has been unusually open with information about the quake including posting up casualty numbers. But they have been very reluctant to allow outside (foreign) agencies in to help with this massive disaster initially. But with the current casualties numbers and death tolls rising, they should have accept help from other countries earlier, there would not be so much death around. After seeing the news, all i can say 'No one can ever predict what will happen next. Always cherish your loves one, before it' was too late'.
